Health Science – chaos, complexity and holism

These are the theoretical writings of Laurence Axtens – Osteopath on the life sciences. Primarily philosophical in nature, they harken back to the origins of Osteopathic medicine and the writings of the founder, A.T. Still.

They hold little with regard to specific treatment or health management and where they do Laurie will provide you with a reference to accepted clinic practice.

Please feel free to comment on Laurence’s postulations – because free thinking is essential to the scientific process; it takes free thinking to hypothesise, with out hypotheses we have nothing to test, nothing to prove or disprove – in short we have no science.
